It has been really difficult to aquire a reliable and efficient oil fired boiler engineer in the last couple of years and our boiler has been reasonably reliable. The engineers we had for services have not been particularly helpful or of great quality. So we were really worried when our boiler stopped working in November time! Luckily we found these guys and they came out and identified filters and problems that the other engineers hadn't in the previous ten year period. The engineer identified the problem as water in the tank and went on to clean out filters that had not even been identified previously! Unfortunately the problems were not fixed straight away and the engineer came out to us several occasions, always very polite, and quickly!! The problems were eventually conquered, but unfortunately the invoice was lost in the post. Towards the end of January we had a gentle reminder that the invoice was unpaid and when I explained that we had never received one, a duplicate was emailed to me with an apology. I paid straight away and was very surprised at the amount as I was sure that it was going to be far more than it was. I am very happy with their service and prices and hope to be able to be put on their list of customers for a yearly service of our boiler!! Many thanks for your excellent work!!

First time we have used AOFH (leaking oil pump) and they were very impressive. Responded very quick, came the same day, identified a problem that other company had failed to diagnose, repaired and all within one hour. Really impressed that they had the necessary spares in the van, (unlike so many tradesmen these days). Have booked AOFH for the annual service later in the year and would highly recommend them.
