Adding to the 1 star reviews. I paid this company to carry out a survey at a property I was purchasing. In the report they noted some remedial works needed to be done to the roof. Ok, Remedial works are manageable. I then paid to have 3 roofers come out to evaluate as something did not sit right. All 3 said it needed a new roof as it had not been replaced in nearly 100 years. Maybe I was misled or misunderstand what a competent surveyor should do but pointing out a roof that is nearly 100 years old and should be replaced as opposed to remedial works is very different. I then called the director to explain and ask for a partial refund as I felt they did not fulfill their duties at all. She declined. She said the report told us to get professional to look at the roof and that fulfilled their standard of care. For the amount of money I paid for this-...really disappointed. Please consider all options and use at your own discretion.

Missed obvious defects which contractors said a competent surveyor should have spotted.

Avoid at all costs. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. Paid them to carry out a full building survey, but could not be more disappointed with the results. A rushed, vague report that missed numerous issues with the building. Surveyor revisited to assess the damp that had been flagged up by us, but missed on their first visit. Surveyor failed to spot it again and categorically stated that no damp was present, even though water stains were clearly obvious on the ceiling. Now after a leak in the bathroom they have revisited again and now claim that they did assess the damp originally, but that it wasn't an issue so didn't bother mentioning it in their report. Cowboys. This is now a legal matter....
