Colin Eaton5 StarFantastic service from everyone at Alexander Thomson Plumbing & Heating. Our shower unit stopped working in the morning in one of the guest rooms. We called Alexander Thomson spoke to Angela who as always is very helpful, within half an hour I received an email to say that they had the required replacement shower and arranged to have the unit fitted that afternoon.
Very clean and tidy.

Jeanette Stewart2 StarThe guy was in our house for 45 minutes doing some electrical work which was done to a very good standard which we were very pleased with. When we got the invoice for payment we were charged for 1.5hrs because apparently you get charged for their travelling time to and from your premises, which was never mentioned when we booked it over the telephone. I have never, ever heard of this being done before!!! So you get charged travelling time to your house, then from your house to their next job. This means that the next person getting something done is being charged for travel time to their home/premises, so in essence that part of it they are charging twice. We were only 4 minutes over the hour because of this but were charged for the half hour. I complained about it and the invoice was changed but not without a lengthy discussion. They need to be more transparent and let customers know exactly what they will be charged for, sorry but I won't use again. Hence why only two stars, no reflection on the work that was done, that was excellent.Thursday 13th July 2017
