Hitesh Morjaria1 StarTERRIBLE. Surveyor sam came out on a valuation and counted the wrong number of bedrooms, 2 less to be precise. So valuation is completely incorrect and inaccurate. Allied refused to help and had to go back to lender to reinstruct by which time mortgage offer was out of time and costed several £1000s more in costs. Allied not helpful at all.Wednesday 8th February 2023
James Bell UK1 StarI have been trying to complete on a purchase since April. It’s now coming to the end of August. The surveyor on the case continues to ask for documents and confirmation from the council/ planning department surrounding compliance even though they have had all the necessary documents and proof for months. The members of the team in the office are polite but often don’t know anything about the case as you get through to a different person each time. The vendor threatened to pull out last month and we’re still no closer to completion. It’s never ending cycle. The surveyors on the case need to stop doing visits until they finish what they have started. 0/5 stars.Thursday 18th August 2022
shayanzd1 StarThey done a Survey for a re-mortgage in the midlands. The survey was riddled with mistakes and inaccuracies.
Incorrect property type, didn't mention the correct number of rooms.
Tried saying the let was not lawful when local authority inspected and granted licence only 2 months prior.
The valuer was more concerned with my fire alarms than whether the property was a suitable security for the mortgage company.

James Kondol1 StarHave used Allied Surveyors from property in Scotland on many occasions - great. Trying to make a purchase in the Lakes District and went online; a Branch in Cockermouth came up and a form to pay for and order a survey came up - then things went wrong!!!!
Eventually called the HQ and was abruptly told "we don't cover that area and there is no Cockermouth office - sorry you've had a wasted call".
Gievn the property being bought and sold in Cumbria I am shocked:
1 A company that creates an impression of being Nation wide does not have coverage
2 That the website is showing in correct information and wasting people's time
I will now find a surveyor who truly offers service.......Monday 6th July 2015
