Shambolic Bath, Shower and Tile Refit • Shower Screen – not vertical and inside caps fallen off – so called Ashby Plumbing, after their vacation, to advise. They contacted me on 03/04/20 advising they "usually" use a spirit level and obviously due to lock-down, emergencies only were allowed. At that time I never mentioned to them of the tiles and trim not being level / flush, or the skirting “secured” with mastic over brick dust, as per the taps, with smears of mastic on tiles and shower screen. • Then, the shower hose became loose and detached due to being mis threaded and could not be re-attached, so I had to call in a competent, reputable, plumber who obtained a replacement from Mira. • Bath panels “secured” with mastic. The panels and bath had not been cleaned following removal of their protective film, resulting in mastic “seal” not adhering and consequently peeling away. • Oh yes - and oil from the leaking van on my drive, extensive debris from their previous job on their “dust sheets” and the property was left unlocked with the keys put through the letter box ?!?!? OBVIOUSLY - WILL NEVER RECOMMEND

What an awful plumber! An absoloute cowboy builder! Left my with a leaky pipe that was not working and charged me £40! I had to inform a new plumber strait away and they fixed it within five minutes! FIVE MINUTES and charged me £5, what a rip off! Never go to Ashby Plumbing ( EVER ).
