We have just recently purchased our first home & as young, first-time buyers it’s a bit daunting beginning the whole process. We were recommended Mike by the agents and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Mike was a pleasure to deal with from the start, quick response time, genuine and professional. He made us feel at ease from the get go and all the team, Alex, Alison and Mike were fantastic. The survey covered everything we wanted to know + more and was brilliant value. The reports are done in such a great way, it covered every aspect but with clear language so that we knew exactly what we were reading, no jargon. They worked quick to get us in, and answered any questions we had straight away. We really would recommend Mike and the team to anyone needing their services, we had a lot of confidence in them knowing they were on hand to deal with any queries and they are lovely people to deal with too!

Hired to provide a survey of a house I intend to purchase. The survey was completed quickly, with the report following not long after. It was exceptionally detailed and thorough. I especially appreciated the many professional suggestions for repair work. Top quality!

We were recommended Mike at Ashmore Surveyors and can honestly say what a fantastic experience it’s been from start to finish of the house buying survey process. Mike always puts his clients first, responding to messages outside of the standard conventional working times. His confidence puts you at complete ease and happily explains complexities at a level adapted to the individual. The report was clear, easy to read - interesting to read and illustrated with clear pictures (lots of pictures) picture paints a thousand words. His communications leaves other companies in the dust, Ashmore are outstanding for their comm’s, efficiency to turn the surveys around and the aftercare advise. Their fee is a small drop to the money they can potentially save you - ensuring you’re not left high and dry to fix an expensive problem. Absolutely flawless service Myself and my partner has been in the market for the past few months to buy our first home together. We always intended to have a survey carried out on our purchased property so we asked for recommendations to which we were advised to go with Ashmore by multiple sources including our mortgage advisor and my previous estate agent who helped me sell my last property. They had completely undersold Ashmore and the level of professionalism, detail and extremely helpful and friendly service they provide. The quoted priced was extremely reasonable and after seeing the finished report, confirmed it was worth every penny. We have had 2 surveys done by Ashmore. The first one allowed us to make the informed decision to pull out of a purchase of a vacant ex-rental property that had a whole host of issues out of eyesight that Ashmore picked up on and included within their report. To say they helped us dodge a bullet was an understatement. The second survey we had was just as detailed as the first and fortunately the property was in much better condition than the last. This survey has made us feel so much more informed and confident about the purchase we're about to make so was definitely money well spent. I've spoken with a few people at Ashmore also, all of which are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I will be recommending these guys to any friends/family that join the housing market and hope this review will serve as a helpful and informative description on the sort of service to be given by Ashmore.

Brilliant service. From first enquiring about a survey the service was great. Given example survey reports to look through to choose a suitable one for ourselves. Once we had decided, the process was quick. Survey done on the Tuesday and report received the following Monday. Very informative and helpful especially for a first time buyer!
