We are a newly founded business in Colwyn Bay, right in the centre of the North Wales coastline. We are run by a father and son team, Bill and Tom, who created the business after having worked in the building trade for a combined 50 years. They wanted to provide a complete experience for our customers, from the sale right through to the aftercare, and that has become a mainstay of our service. As a time-served joiner, Bill specialises in bespoke cabinetry and furniture making, whilst Tom has spent his time travelling the world to learn new aspects of the wood flooring industry, from handcrafted marquetry to straight lay floors. This gives us a broader knowledge of how the products work so we can ensure that they perform to the highest quality in your home. Our dedicated team of installers and our staff in the showroom are all trained, not only by Bill and Tom, but also through having completed every training module on the Woodpecker Experts' programme.  We’ve done this to ensure that no matter who you talk to, you'll always get an answer to your query. Our showroom opened on November 14th 2020 and we have been exceptionally busy with enquiries since then, due to our large range of quality wood flooring, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and associated interior design products. I have mulled over writing a review for some time as our experience goes against the grain of success stories of other clients. We approached Aspect for a completely new fitted kitchen, floors sanding and resealing. Naturally we shopped around but found their pricing really competitive and I really l iked the idea of a local father and son duo heading up the work. What I would say is make sure every detail of your kitchen design is finalised as during the installation we had re we were on the same page. There were questions over handles, assumptions of where wall tiling should be and where the oak shelves were going to be placed. Due to a distinct lack of plans, we came home to find that the shelves had been placed at the wrong height, impacting on LED strip lights. As it currently stands we are now paying extra to undo work to achieve the finished kitchen. Sanding of the floors - the floors at a glance look brilliant. At the start of the work I asked if we needed to do anything to fill in the gaps in between the floorboards. I was advised this would be done as they sanded down the floor. This was not done, I was told that it would look odd, not being a floor expert, I agreed that they didn't need to fill in each gap. Due to the recent weather, we can feel the breeze through the floor. Filling the gaps would have been advantageous. Painting - Tom said he would be able to spray paint the kitchen white before installing the cabinets. Unfortunately this didn't go to plan and the spray paint ran off the walls creating a mess and delayed the installation of the kitchen. To be fair to him he stayed late to ensure the walls were painted by hand but, what I would say the paint job was not done to a high standard leaving us with further work to rectify. When they were pressed to rectify for us, I was told due to time they would charge extra. My conclusion is - the kitchen quality is wonderful, worktops brilliant from MGM Granite, the installation of the kitchen itself was good. Third party trades were great to deal with. I would say that they perhaps offered too much and time ran away with them. I feel in our case, finishing touches were compromised due to this. Update : March 2022 The shelves have been removed, tiles replaced and so shelves could be placed at the correct height. The height was important as it needed to hide the electrical ports for the hidden led strip lights. The shelves have just been routed by Tom this week so this could be done. If there had been discussions with all the trades over 'days' this would have been done before installation and all trades on board with the plan to finish the kitchen. The initial finish was "completed" in the first week of December 2021.

Even though I was not using the shop. I must rate them 5 star. Our pram lost a nut and a gentleman had seen our problem. Went in side and found a nut to fit the problem. Not all super hero’s have capes.

Aspect Interiors recently transformed one of our rooms with their bespoke fitted furniture. The furniture is of high quality, the workmanship faultless and the layout is exactly how we hoped. We had complete kitchen and bathroom renovations undertaken by Aspect Interiors and the results are stunning. Father and son Bill and Tom and their fellow workers are real craftsmen who take genuine pride in their work and it really shows. They made every effort to minimise mess and disruption and deliver an outstanding outcome. Everyone connected with this team has been a pleasure to do business with and we rate them very highly indeed. They were punctual, hardworking, respectful of us and our property and dedicated to the very highest standard of finish. It is never easy having a kitchen and/or bathroom refitted but the guys worked flat out to make it a success. We asked Aspect to construct a 'media wall' incorporating a new electric fire and alcoving for a TV and sound bar. They did a very professional job ensuring the structure was much more robust than the original panelling and capable of taking the weight of the various appliances. A very friendly, personal service - I would recommend them.
