Great professional service. Chris is down to earth and honest. The builders were very pleasant and hard working. They started work without any payment and only took money for work completed. Very happy with the final result. Get in there early as they have a long waiting list because they are so good!

The short version: We had a very good experience, and we would be happy to have them back again if we needed any work. There were a few minor niggles that lost one star; though to their credit CB Construction handled these very well. We had CB Construction convert part of our garage/ storage space into a living space. They gave a good value quote and were happy to take on the work (which was a fiddly, modest-sized job). The builder who did most of the work, Dan, was extremely careful, thorough and polite; as were the rest of the team. They worked very hard and made impressive progress. We had a couple of set backs - the window that was to be installed got cracked on installation, and a replacement was also cracked on arrival! But they put it in after a reasonable delay. Credit to them - they were extremely apologetic and good about this (which must have cost them). Their contacted plasterer caused a small delay by not starting or finishing his section on time (the end result is fine though). Other issues probably involved us having unrealistic expectations of how efficiently the space could be converted; for example, the size of boxing, space taken by plumbing, etc. The final finish was good. We could see imperfections but their work was of higher quality than other work previous owners had done, and now it is finished we don't notice them. We are happy with the final result.

We have just had extension and kitchen work completed by CB Construction. Cannot praise them enough! Chris and the team have been fantastic throughout (from the initial consultation and quote, to getting the job 'done'). All work has been completed to a very high standard and we are thrilled with the results. We highly recommend this company.

We had Attic Loft Conversions to build a side extension, partly into the garage and extended towards the back of the house with a skylight in. Chris was very professional and put us at ease from our first meeting, he made a number of recommendations which made good sense. The rest of the workmen (roofers, builders and carpenters) were all very well mannered and polite at all times, the quality of work has been to a high standard throughout. We have a neighbour who made it very challenging for them to work near the border (detached house), Chris went round an had an hour meeting with them and even built a large fence so they wouldn’t see the work / mess. He stayed patient and professional with them throughout the build and overcame every objection that was thrown at him. After the side extension was built, we also had Chris and his team remove a large fireplace surround and plaster it, they also blocked up a living room door and plastered the wall and moved a light switch. We are very happy with Chris and his team and have no hesitation in recommending Attic Loft Conversions.

Great from start to finish. Felt at ease with Chris straight away. We were opening our kitchen and dining room and needed a new kitchen fitted. Had quite a few quotes at the time and didn't trust many of the builders who quoted. Chris had good knowledge of what we needed and sent us a breakdown of costs which we were happy with. We left our home with CB construction whilst on holiday and came back to progress being underway and everything in hand. Had a few problems with our kitchen provider however the builders were able to resolve them for us. The kitchen was finished to a high standard and we are very happy with the outcome even two years on. Will use again for sure!
