I really hate leaving negative reviews considering this is an independent business. Stuart (Owner of Banks Gas) was contracted to install a top of the range Worcester Bosch boiler at my house during refurbishment in 2021. He did a super job and was paid promptly for his work. A week later I discovered that he had forgotten to connect the overflow pipe and I called and text him numerous times. I was promised numerous times that it would be sorted and he failed to turn up. Luckily the boiler is new and this wasn’t causing any issues. A year later he calls me about the yearly service so I agreed that he should service the boiler bearing in mind he installed it and he was Worcester Bosch approved. He agreed he would also sort out the forgotten overflow pipe. Service and overflow pipe done a week later. Ever since the service I have had intermittent hot water and a constant drop in heating pressure. Again, I have tried numerous times to bring him back and he has failed to turn up. The most frustrating thing is the false promises. He has promised to turn up every time and I have stayed at home (days off work) on 2 occasions without any luck. He has stopped responding to me now. I will take my business elsewhere and will file a complaint to Worcester Bosch too. It’s a disgraceful way to treat a customer. Be careful with Banks Gas. They’ll turn up very quickly if they can bill you. After sales is non existent

Our experience with this company was great. The Engineer was clearly very competent: from the diagnostics right through to effecting the repairs. This personable young man apprised us with the requisite information and explanation at each turn. He will certainly be my first port of call in the future. Andrew G

First Class Service! Stuart installed a brand new boiler, was here on time at 8.30am and finished by 7.00pm... he didn't stop and took his time to get everything perfect including checking radiators etc. The price was spot on and he even completed all the paperwork for the warranty. I definitely would recommend Banks Gas to everyone :)
