BK Heating

Organised by the Energy Saving Trust and Citizens Advice Bureau, Big Energy Saving Week (17th – 23rd January) is a national initiative to raise awareness and provide support for households on becoming more energy efficient to help manage energy costs and protect the planet by reducing emissions. It is estimated that through making simple changes, such as adjusting heating controls or switching to LED lights, households could save around £100* a year on their bills and help towards the UK reaching net zero emissions by 2050.

Malcolm Farrow, from OFTEC, said: “While there are many ways to save money and increase the energy efficiency of your home, such as upgrading insulation or fitting double glazed windows, these can be expensive and difficult to implement, particularly if you rent or live in an older, rural property. There are, however, some simple everyday actions that you can take today to make sure you are getting the most out of the energy you pay for, while reducing your carbon footprint by optimising your heating system. Always an excellent and friendly service from BK Heating. Recently had a new radiator fitted in the hall. Bruce and Ollie previously did an incredible job fitting a new boiler for us in West Malvern, all with an air of professionalism and courtesy, working late on the first day to make sure we had heating and hot water as soon as possible. And they even threw in a couple of extra small jobs tidying up some pipework at no extra charge. I would highly recommend them!

After our boiler gave up the ghost, we looked around for a new supplier including the national companies who you would expect to be cheaper than a local guy, but we came across Bruce and his team at BK Heating, they responded quickly & cost was very competitive, the new boiler was installed with no problems at all, and Bruce has been back a few times to make sure all is well, what can I say, but a very professional, & friendly company, nothing is to much, I would strongly recommend BK Heating.
