Buying a park home can be a stressful process. You will be told that “you don’t need a survey” and “nobody has ever had a survey on this park before”! We have heard these quotes virtually every day for the last 25 years. Would you buy a second hand car without a MOT or warranty? Park homes will last a lifetime but only if they have been well maintained. It is vitally important that you know the condition of your new park home and that there are no nasty surprises around the corner.

An average park home survey takes between 2 – 3 hours and is recorded in an easy to read written report, which includes colour photos and generally consists or 20 – 30 pages.

Our Park Home surveys and Leisure Lodge surveys are comprehensive and are classed as a full structural survey. Our surveyor does not wear a suit and is often found covered in cobwebs and dust.

Initially on arrival all measurements of the home and distances to boundaries are recorded. We then don our overalls and crawl under the home to inspect.

The base, the supports, the chassis, all timbers, insulation and pipe work.

We inspect and walls for identify the wall structure and materials used.

Windows and doors and identify what type of frames are used and if they comply with fire regulations.

We then go onto the roof for a full detailed inspection

This is followed by an internal inspection of the walls floors and ceilings.

All faults are identified in the survey along with the cause and how they should be rectified.
