Used these guys couple years ago to fit new toilet flush valve, the toilet wouldn’t stop leaking 2-3 times they came back but in such a rush didn’t fix it continued to leak. I eventually pulled the toilet apart with the help of good old YouTube guide to fix it, they hadn’t bothered to replace a £2 donut, for a £100 job that took 20mins with a £15 part, once I replaced the donut it never leaked since! Just abit more care and not cutting corners would of done the job perfect :-) They pulled my towel rail away from the wall using it as a stand aid which I also had to fix...

My 4 year old combi boiler was serviced by Dan in December 2019. He was a little late, though traffic can be a problem getting to where I am located. My boiler was serviced fairly swiftly, however during the process of Dan removing the boiler housing, one of the integral door clips broke and landed on my worktop, which upon attempted reinstallation is clearly now unable to perform its purpose because a piece of its plastic is permanently missing! This situation has now caused the front access flap door to permanently drop one side which has really annoyed me as I now have to source and pay for a new clip to put the door of the boiler housing right. When Dan left I inspected the boiler and I also discovered he had not replaced the boiler cover one side which sticks out off its housing clips and looks a real mess and I have no way of rectifying this myself. An hour later, I used the used the hot tap and burned my hand because Dan had left the hot water dial on maximum, so I had to re-adjust all the settings myself. In my present situation today, I am now faced with having to recharge the pressure system because it has dropped into the red zone - a task I have never had to undertake on this boiler before. Thus taking into account of my experience with this company for just a routine boiler service, I would not use this company again and following my experience would definitely NOT recommend Chichester Plumbers.
