Julie Riley5 StarMassive shout out to this company. They surveyed the house I was buying with great efficiency and answered all my questions. Would definitely use again and recommend to all my friends and familyTuesday 13th August 2019
Claudia Cristian1 StarI would not recommend Connor Surveyors. Straight after the survey was complete, they will not answer your calls anymore, the surveyor, Martin, will only answer emails. So if you have something that you don’t understand, and you would rather speak to someone to get that clarified, that will not be possible. Just emails. If you ring the office, Judith will not answer and she will not return your call. The valuation of the house is vague, and misleading. It did not give me a clear idea whether I should proceed and buy the house for the agreed price or not. He has recommended repairs to the roof, but I had roofers come round and they said that the roof is fine, it does not need repairs. Martin, the surveyor, said that ventilation in the roof space is not adequate, but I had a specialist coming to inspect the house, a ventilation company surveyor and he said that the roof space does not need ventilation. Connors Surveyors advised that the bathroom fan was not working, but it was actually working. I asked him if the modern building regulations require any ventilation inside bedrooms on 19/07/19, and he said will not be available until 01/08/19, then I emailed him about the same question on 31/07/19, but he is not replaying to my emails anymore. Since I moved in, this house has higher than normal relative humidity levels, can be going up to 70%-75% for an unknown reason, or it could be due to not having adequate ventilation inside bedrooms. I was getting condensation in my bedroom windows, before the summer started. Now that is a lot warmer outside, I don’t get condensation, but let’s see in winter. I had to buy a dehumidifier to keep down the humidity levels…so this was not pointed out in the survey, now I have to spend more money on electricity each month. But even with the dehumidifier working 5 hours before bedtime, overnight the relative humidity increases from 40% to 60% in 8 hours, so that is 20% more water content in the air, and Connor Surveyors cannot explain why. I would clearly not recommend Connor Surveyors.Sunday 18th August 2019
figurereview1235 StarJust wanted to give a shout out to Connor's surveyors. They gave a great service from the first contact to the emailing of the report. The report itself was in depth and well worth the money. Many thanks and will have no hesitation recommending to friends and familyMonday 27th March 2017
Deborah Schofield5 StarRecently moved house and used Connors Surveyors to provide me with a Building Survey. Can I just say they provided a excellect service and communication was second to none. The surveyor Martin was helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and took the time to explain things like Radon and bridging to me. Will definatley be recommending them to friends .Monday 19th August 2019
Kayley Ford5 StarI have recently used Connors Surveyors for a RICS Homebuyer Survey on my new house. I found the whole process easy, responsive and would highly recommend them. The report was informative and the telephone call after gave me the chance to discuss it in more detail and let me speak to Martin the surveyor about the questions i had.
I followed his advice and got a quote for the work and have some good guys lined up to do the work.
I would use again.Monday 19th August 2019
