Positives: Had good/early availability to do the survey; relatively reasonably priced. Negatives: Exceptionally poor communication; very tardy in providing the survey report from the agreed timeline with no sense of responsibility. Would never use these guys again. Stay clear.

We had a Crest surveyor over for a full structural survey who completely missed fundamental aspects of the structure of the property, such as the wall type and large trees leaning over a neighbours house. Having had the survey challenged through CEDR it was admitted that the survey was not up to the expected standard with regards to those points above. But no compensation of any kind was offered. Crest have been unwilling to compensate even for the cost of the full structural survey, only issue a written apology. This seems to have lots of high reviews but I have read through and echo completely the sentiments of the other bad review for this company "In summary, critical aspects of report were fraught with boilerplate and generic language, with insufficient details." We experienced the exact same issue and found the report to be lacking significantly on key details. I would not recommend them to anyone and specifically not the structural survey.

I am a buyer, and would like to give Tunde full marks. He has been very helpful throughout this and discussed the property with me at length - a potential issue was raised months after his initial survey, and he went back to double check it of his own volition. He has been extremely responsive and shown fantastic care for his customers. Great service all around, thank you for your help.

We had a survey performed on the house we were selling and the estimated price of upgrades was £8000. It's just been surveyed by another company and no major issues have been identified. I therefore think their estimations are significantly overinflated and inaccurate which can of course lead to unnecessary disputes between buyer and seller over trivial details.

We used Crest Chartered Surveyors for the purchase of our first home; their service was excellent and they took the time to explain technical terms so that we were able to make a fully informed decision before buying the house. Highly recommended for competitive price when compared to market leaders but still top quality.
