Had John round to construct our patio in 2020 - it took him 18 months to end the saga, appearing randomly - a day here and a day there, he laid the slabs on a dry weak mix of sand and cement and this is where the nightmare began - all the slabs are unevenly laid, no uniform gaps, some overhang whilst others are completely out of line, most slabs rock back and forth when trodden on, moss and weeds coming up in all the joins, all of the small slabs have sunk on one edge and the ‘cut’ slabs show signs of over cuts where the cutting disc diameter was too large - all in all a complete sub standard bodge, have a look at the video on a well known website and judge for yourself - and all done by a man who ‘appears’ at 930am, sits in his van for 30 minutes sipping tea and come 2pm is packed up and scooting off down the road. Hard work doesn’t live here! Caveat emptor folks
