Allen visited to discuss our project and was happy to share his knowledge and advice before preparing a detailed quotation, allowing us to carry out some preparations and finishing for ourselves.

Once we accepted the quotation, a date was arranged and Allen and a colleague quickly removed existing fittings, fitting a new plywood over-floor and preparing for the new fittings. On the second day a series of strong timber supports were prepared and the bath installed.

Following installation of the shower boards (which we chose to fit ourselves though Allen could have done this had we so wished and, from the evidence of his other work, would have done so perfectly) Allen returned to install the remaining fittings and supervise additional plumbing work. He then carried out final checks and sealed all the fittings with silicone to a very high standard of neatness.
