Milo Skyler1 StarDream doors dream prices. Charged us 1000 pounds to supply and fit 3 narrow wardrobe doors and a flimsy frame. Took them about 2.5 hours to fit between two of them. I worked it out the doors plus cheap hinges about 350 pounds to me as a retail customer, so they must have paid less trade. So that was 650 pounds to fit them in just over 2 hours, an utter ripoff, when i challenged the manager he claimed the rest was to cover their overheads. (somebody has some considerable overheads)
Worse still they didn't fix the side plates into the wall correctly the raw plugs have pulled and the frame moves when i open the door. Plus they made the frame too wide so i can't move any of the hangers. They threw it up and legged it as they had my money already. No care given after that.
I complained and i was offered a solution, he offered to hack out the back of the cupboard with a jigsaw so the hangers could move by. Having a father as a carpenter i knew this would never look good and how little he obviously cared about resolving their cockup.
If you look on checkatrade there aren't so many bad reviews as on trustpilot which is a bit more realistic but as you're aware they pay checkatrade and checkatrade need them so many reviews are considerably boosted and the bad ones are removed.
