We would like to thank the team at Ernest Hawk chartered surveyors. We recently had two HMO properties that we were refinancing through our broker and our new lender chose Ernest Hawk to carry out both valuations. The customer service has been excellent from start to finish. I received a phone call from a member of the team who was very polite and efficient in booking appointments for both properties back to back. Shortly after, we got a confirmation text with a time and date. On the day of both surveys, the surveyor Adam Hunt arrived on time and introduced himself. He was also very polite and knowledgable. He carried out both valuations in detail and got the reports back to the lender swiftly. Overall, a 5 star experience from the team at Ernest Hawk. Polite, professional and efficient. Don't put your self through the pain of dealing with these clowns. They assume and don't put facts into the report, also the surveyor was rude. Avoid, this company.

Came out to value our property instructed by Skipton Building Society, had two other independent values both valuing our property at £220,000-£230,000, Ernest Hawk valuation came in at £195,000, based on a 3 bedroom semi detached house with garage newly refurbished in West Knighton Leicester if you can show me a comparable property which is selling for 195,000 in this area I will happily take this review down. Two people came out to the property a trainee who was polite and another chap who didn’t have the decency to say we’ve finished or goodbye at the end gave the impression he didn’t want to be there, none of them took there shoes off or offered to do so it was raining that day kindly left footprints on carpet upstairs, need to work on being more professional and courteous,

Had a survey comprehensive survey done by Ernest Hawk, 3 months later we moved in and found the conservatory coming away from the house, the brick wall was coming away as to was the plastic part of the conservatory. We had a builder round and he could not believe that a qualified surveyor would miss these signs. The only thing he reported was the doors were misaligned and needed to be adjusted. complained and we had to pay £350 for a structural engineer to come out and write a report stating that some aspects of the building should have been level 3 in the home buyers report not 2 as they were, ( if 3 this requires urgent attention ) Had a letter explaining that they had done what is contracted of them and they will now not comment on this matter again.. Nice !! That will be us having to pay £16 grand plus for a take down and replace because of an obvious blunder by this company. DO NOT USE and i will be telling anyone who will listen the same.
