The company has over 25 years experience in manufacturing and retail. The fk&b factory is on the Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead and we’re extremely proud of the quality we achieve – British engineering at its best!
Our showrooms are in Gateshead, Blaydon, Hexham and Monkseaton where you will find friendly staff that will help you create your dream kitchen or bedroom. When you visit one of our showrooms you will see a great choice of kitchens including: Contemporary kitchens, Country Kitchens, Curved kitchens, Shaker Kitchens and Traditional kitchens. We have lots of finishes from Gloss to Matt and Painted. Colours, to name but a few, are offered in Lights, Mid-tones, Darks, Beige, Cream, Grey, Ivory and White. Our bedrooms represent the same choice in style, colour and finish.
Our designers are passionate about creating stunning interiors but we have a feet firmly on the ground too. We know that good interior design is about function. It’s about making your life easier. We have designed, manufactured and installed thousands of kitchens across the North East.
We manufacture our all of our own kitchens and doors. However, we also supply kitchen doors from big UK brands such as Second Nature Kitchens, Multiwood and Browns 2000. Our appliances include top quality names such as Neff, Siemens, Bosch and AEG.

Gill Lyons5 StarWe cannot sing the praises of Emrys and his excellent fitters Steve and Dan too highly. The professionalism and skill has been first rate. Planning help was given as and when we needed it, but we stayed in control. No pressure to buy. We have had a large kitchen and a large bedroom fitted, both with extremely high ceilings, and the units have been designed to fill all the available space. Our house is old and Steve and Dan brilliantly adjusted wardrobe frames and carcasses to cope with an uneven floor yet leaving us with level wardrobes. Our Second Nature kitchen is wonderful (we have had Second Nature previously and well recommend the range). A first class job carried out by lovely men. From start to finish we can’t fault the expert planning and after care service from Emrys and also from Matthew Wilson & Gary Brewis builders and their team . The team and Emrys worked well together and at every stage we were listened to . With no hard sell , Emrys gave us a couple of options to consider and we now have a kitchen we love and that works so well for us . Emrys and Matthew came highly recommended and we felt so confident after the first meeting that we didn’t look elsewhere. This was a wise decision - despite the difficulties our kitchen posed ( there were many) , the quality of planning and installation is superb . Thank youTuesday 25th January 2022

The workmen have all done a great job and were friendly. We didn't choose a cheap kitchen but the price was very competitive and the quality excellent.Tuesday 9th March 2021

The moment we walked into the showroom to the final finish date, the service we received from Emrys was excellent. There was no hard sell or pressure to sign anything then and there to bind us to a contract.
Emrys, the project manager, listened attentively and worked around our ideas , using his expertise to design the perfect kitchen to accommodate all our needs. He pays great attention to every detail to bring out the best functional kitchen.
Emrys manages his team extremely well and his team were very pleasant, accommodating and very respectful of our home and environment.
Emrys is a great project manager and his commitment to offer the best value for money is incredible. We would not hesitate to recommend him and his team
