Peter Hammond5 StarI would like to express my sincere thanks to Alick Russell of Force Ten Surveys. After agreeing the sale of our house with a date for completion, our immediate neighbour raised a boundary dispute claiming that we had encroached upon his land when adding an extension, although this had been mutually agreed and built some nine years earlier. His claim was based on an Ordinance Survey map and satellite images provided by the RPA (Rural Payments Agency), which appeared to show a much larger area of land. Both of these were proved to be incorrect and so could not be relied upon to give a true boundary line. Following a site visit by Alick and an extensive examination of the area, with an array of relevant equipment we were able to establish the true boundary. Without Alick's advice and expertise our house sale could, and probably would, have fallen through.
