Gary did a brilliant job lime rendering our attic bedrooms last year and so we had no hesitation about asking him to come back to help with our kitchen knock-through recently. Gary again did an amazing job, he works incredibly hard and his workmanship is outstanding. He is very knowledgable and will find a way round quirks of old houses and come up with sympathetic solutions. He will happily take on extra jobs you throw at him, and his costs are very competitive. Despite the nature of his work there is very little mess/dust and he is very careful, with dust sheets throughout and cleaning at the end of each day. He is highly in demand and we feel lucky to have had him involved. Thank you Gary so much!

We are really really pleased with the work that Gary has done for us. He was incredibly helpful in advising us about a number of challenges we have had/discovered and we are really glad to have found him. He was incredibly tidy at the end of each day and was a real pleasure to have around. We have a lot more work to do on the house and will defining be asking him back to help as we move on the next room (and the next, and then next...). Thanks Gary!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Gary for the absolute transformation he achieved at our property. After what can only be described as difficult build due to various reasons Gary has been a complete breath of fresh air. He is knowledgeable and extremely professional and most importantly he genuinely listens and truly cares about providing you with a service/ standard of work that you are happy with. He walked in to a Job well over and above what had been originally discussed and he never once complained he just went about getting things sorted for us and we could not be more pleased with the results. A great guy and I can't recommend enough.

Contractor selection was critical when it came to the lime rendering project for our 200 year + Norfolk property and we definitely made the right choice by appointing Gary to complete the works. We received tenders from 5 other contractors and Gary stood out immediately with his honest, factual and instructive advice. The property had been cement rendered in the 80's which brought its inevitable negative results in such an old property and construction type (solid Norfolk red brick walls & lime mortar) and visually it stood out in the village for all the wrong reasons. After six weeks work (as planned) the transformation is amazing and we now have a property that not only looks fantastic but will be able to "breath" and behave as it was designed to do. The Thermalime basecoat will provide the much needed additional insulation while the Fine Lime topcoat has resulted in a superb finish. We entered the project nervously as we didn't know what we were going to find underneath the cement render but everything encountered was discussed and managed effectively by Gary and the Team. As considerate contractors they were exceptional. Engagement with the local residents/neighbours was fantastic sometimes working in/under challenging conditions & locations. From a cleanliness perspective the site was cleaned perfectly each day (especially considering the nature of the works) and the house windows have not been cleaner since we moved in. If you are considering such works on your property definitely engage with G.M Plastering. We are already getting further quotations from Gary to continue the works on the inside of the property (speaks volumes). Highly recommended.

Gary has been absolutely fantastic, would not hesitate to recommend him. He has been working for about a month lime plastering the top floor of our house and we have been delighted with his work. He is excellent at advising about the best materials, and has a good relationship with the local Conservation Officer. He is transparent about costs and materials and has stuck to his very reasonable quote. He has been really flexible with changes to various details, and has found a way round the inevitable quirks of an old building. He works hard and his finish and attention to detail are excellent. And he has been lovely to have around, very friendly and approachable. We have already booked him up for more work in other parts of the house. Thank you Gary!
