There are different types of bat survey. In the majority of cases, particularly in urban areas, a bat scoping survey (or preliminary roost appraisal) is all that you need.
This is an inspection to look for features which could be used by bats, and to check if bats have used the building before.
A licensed bat surveyor will come to your house, check the outside of the building, and then check inside the loft and cellar (if you have them). It doesn’t take long, and we don’t need to damage anything.
Your survey report will be ready the next working day so you can avoid any further delays.
