Ellesmere is a small historic market town in North Shropshire, named after Ellesmere, one of the largest meres outside of the Lake District.
Often referred to as Shropshire’s Lake District, with nine glacial meres nearby, Ellesmere sits on the Llangollen Branch of the Canal network with the North Shropshire Branch also being close by, running all the way to Ellesmere Port. Historically Ellesmere Port provided the port to Ellesmere for exports, hence the name. During the construction of the canals Thomas Telford lived in a house on the canal in Ellesmere which still stands today.

Being a first time buyer, I didn’t have much knowledge about a lot of the process but Jo and the team were so helpful with thoroughly explaining things. We encountered some bumps in the road with the solicitors but Halls continued to chase responses, and in a timely manner, kept me fully updated with any progress that was made.
