Liar, horrible and a very dishonest old man, who clearly has financial difficulties, avoid at all costs, don’t make the same mistake as I did and didn’t take any notice of previous bad reviews posted by other poor people who he has done over. Says he’s got his own team, when actually he is a one man band. If you do make the choice to hire him, don’t pay him anything up front! We agreed terms beforehand regarding payments and then when he started the job he wanted to change them, when I said that’s not what we agreed, threatens to walk off. Start saying he under quoted for the job etc... walked off the job, damaging my £4500 kitchen and left without fitting in a new window, left a piece of insulation in there for over 2months, said it’s ordered and hasn’t been made every time, then after 2 months he said I’ll pay you the money back for the window, which started off at £340 and then ended up at £180, still not received any money back! Had agreed a price of £11,200, agreed we would pay in stages of £2k as and when work was completed, paid £5k in total as he said he would walk off if he didn’t get another payment. Used most of my material left from another past job and was still complaining about money; completed about £3500 worth of work. See pics, avoid at all costs. I have reported this waste of a time tradesman to all the relevant authorities; hopefully they will catch up to him soon. Now changed his name to CJ Builders.
