Howdens - Houghton le Spring

Avoid. Purchased my kitchen through howdens just over a year ago. Went with all their lamona appliances. 16 month on they have had to come out 3 times due to their faulty washing machines which have ruined my whole kitchen twice now. First time due to a fault in the safety mechanism on the spin cycle which bounced my washer into the middle of my kitchen smashing 3 cupboard doors and damaging my quartz work top. Second time on the replacement washer the incorrect draw was in the washing causing steam to come out on drying cycle. Most recently the lock mechanism has failed to work unlocking half way through a cycle running all my flooring and kitchen units. Service has been horrendous with multiple follow ups needed to get things resolved and this time round trying not to take the responsibility of replacing the kitchen and flooring despite their FAULTY APPLIANCES. Do not waste your money as after sales is shocking.

Highly recommended! Friendly staff, beautiful range of kitchens and floorings to choose from. Were recommended by the builders Ryton Construction and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a first class quality kitchen at a highly competitive price!
