Howdens - Wickford

I have been dealing with Howdens for quite a long time ( on and off for about forty years ) and i can sincerely applaud them for their professionalism in all aspects of the Business.At present my dealings with their Wickford Branch are 5 star extremly helpful. I went into your Wickford branch, last Monday, after receiving an email stating special prices on skirting and architrave.as I have a whole house to fit out.. The member of staff knew nothing of this, then after looking on his computer , told me it was from 1 November, today.. but, more annoying was his flippant attitude, as I was obviously an idiot... upon leaving, I checked my email bin, to which the email stated, offer ending 31/10/21... Please take me off your mailing list, as i will no longer be purchasing any materials etc from from Howdens... I shall go where my custom is appreciated, & I am treated more respectively.. I have had an account with Howdens Joinery for many years ,the first in Thornton Heath near Croydon Surrey in the 1980's and have been very happy with their quality of product, excellent attention to detail and service. I am now with the Wickford Branch Essex - Management / Staff are extremely helpful. Gordon C Baker Installations.

I can’t thank Matt and his team enough for my new kitchen. Very professional, everything explained, and went beyond expectation to make sure everything fit perfectly. Kitchen delivered a week after ordering, units already assembled and far better quality than anywhere else I visited. Highly recommended, I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

After having a bad experience last year with a pushy salesman at this branch I reluctantly went back there with my mum. Luckily this man no longer worked there and the new staff couldn't be more helpful. Benn especially explained everything clearly to my mum and listen patiently to what she wanted. His design was spot of with a little input from myself!! We are now looking forward to the kitchen being delivered and fitted. Excellent team at this branch. Highly recommend

All the staff here were great, particularly Ben. He helped us design an amazing kitchen. We had been to three other designers and Ben knocked the spots of them all. He was so helpful and offered some brilliant suggestions. We tried Howden’s because they were recommended by someone we know and we have now ended up with a much cheaper kitchen and a much better design. We found all of the staff here really helpful too, not just Ben. Matt was awesome and everyone else was great. I would throughly recommend these guys.

Extremely poor and ignores you after purchasing. My mother paid for a whole new kitchen and the worktops from Howdens should come with some sort of warning. The attached picture was taken about 3 months after installation, just covered in tiny scratches - really not fit for purpose as a kitchen worktop, which should be designed to withstand things like plates on it... I emailed them with photos and was ignored for several months despite forwarding the email back to them about once a month. I finally got a response from Andrew, the staff member that dealt with us when we were purchasing. He asked for photos that I had already sent and he said he would send it to the quality control team. I sent these pictures in January and 6 months afterwards I'm still chasing them for some sort of comment. This has made a new kitchen look worn, and now Howdens has the money they're basically ignoring us.

Cannot recommend howdens enough, I purchased my kitchen and dealt with Andrew. He was extremely helpful, the kitchen all arrived perfectly and arrived when they said it would. Was very easy process dealing with howdens from start to finish! Thank you
