Intelligent homebuyers realise why it is so important to have their own survey to confirm that the property is free from significant defect and associated expense. Money wisely spent on a survey can save the need to spend thousands on repairs or replacements should you proceed without a survey.
Your survey will also be a useful negotiating tool to further reduce the price you pay for your new home. If no significant repairs or expenditure are required then at least you have peace of mind. It is too late to negotiate a price once you have exchanged contracts.

Prasanna A (pa)5 StarExceptional service. It was a privilege to have Mr Greenhouse on our survey. We booked the survey in late September, but due to seller side delays I had to postpone till late November, yet Mr Greenhouse was not only patient but fit in ours for the next week when he was fully booked for two weeks. He talked through the findings (55 minutes) on the phone in the evening after the survey and completed the report by the weekend. sunanda williams5 StarWe wanted to get a survey asap as we were almost ready to exchange contracts. Hughgreenhouse surveyors did just that and our survey was booked and completed within a few days. The survey was also very detailed with photographs which was really helpful as we had seen the property only once. The surveyor was very friendly and helpful with the follow up questions. It is now 15th July and absolutely no contact despite numerous telephone calls and emails. We will requesting a court refund as the services we paid for were not carried out.Thursday 15th July 2021
