Ben came recommended by a friend and I contacted him for a quote for some new fencing and some repairs to existing decking and seating in the garden. He responded promptly, understood the range of work we wanted and gave an initial very reasonable quote. A couple of days later he contacted me to say he had checked around and found the materials more cheaply, thereby reducing our costs. Throughout, Ben’s communication with us has been outstanding. He checked when it would be convenient to have the materials delivered, and ensured delivery was within a two hour slot, so we weren’t hanging around all day. He arrived when he said he would and worked hard for full days. He focused fully on our job and found ways to overcome a number of unforeseen problems. The high quality of the finished work showcases both his skills and his attention to detail. We have been absolutely delighted with the quality of the work Ben has done and can’t believe our good fortune in finding someone so professional and customer focused. He is trustworthy, punctual, hardworking and with an eye and a talent for making something truly bespoke. Thank you Ben. We’ll be back!
