Kye worked to our budget, helped bring ideas to life and added a creative spark we didn't think of to form our beautiful first kitchen in our first home. Kye from InHouse Inspired Room Design, was a fantastic help to us. We featured in Kitchen Bedroom Bathroom April 2021 issue. Kye's design was the favoured of the two presented. The design went above and beyond. Not only was the kitchen space planned out but the adjoining dining and living room within the open plan area were detailed with matching cabinetry. The layout of the living room was spun round and just like that the space flowed better. The entire space had been well thought out. We were extremely impressed and have used this design as the basis for our kitchen, dining and living room space. Thankful for the professionalism and the dedication shown to create the perfect kitchen for our way of life. We are still fitting the kitchen at the moment, but are eagerly anticipating its completion. We can't wait to cook, eat and entertain with our family and friends in this fantastic space.

Our initial plan was to get a kitchen design and quote from InHouse then get a few more quotes from elsewhere as we had a couple more booked including a company we had used before. However, from meeting Joe the designer through to visiting the showroom in Hexham we were impressed from the start. So much so we cancelled all other appointments we had from other companies and went with InHouse. Joes design was outstanding, he met everyone of or requests and more. The quality of the kitchen units and the appliances on show sealed the deal as they were significantly better than anything we had previously seen or indeed had installed from other manufacturers. Some of the design features that Schueller have come up with are truly innovative! We used a recommended fitter (Bespoke Joinery NE) who was superb too. There were a couple of minor snagging issues on completion that Michael Smart also of InHouse addressed promptly, efficiently and again with excellent attention to detail. Michael was very helpful at each step of the way and is another reason we would recommend InHouse. Finally a shout out to Lucy Clarke, again InHouse. She helped coordinate every email and query I had and responded to each one quickly and efficiently. Thanks!

We had a kitchen from InHouse and it was a painful experience. I have left writing the review for a few months to allow time to lend some perspective. I am giving two stars simply because there are a couple of InHouse employees who did work hard to get the project finished. We are satisfied with the final kitchen but, considering the amount we paid, we should be a sight more than just satisfied. The units are nice but, considering what we paid, they should be. We made it clear at the beginning that we wanted a turnkey project - we did not want to end up being our own project managers. We were assured that InHouse had ready access to local builders but we waited four months after ordering and paying a 50% deposit. We paid the balance when the units arrived, weeks before we had their recommended builder confirmed. When work started, a catalogue of errors started to unfold. - The wrong sink was ordered and could not be fitted. We waited roughly nine weeks for a suitable replacement - not the one we originally wanted - and this delayed the plumbing so that we didn't have a usable kitchen for the nine weeks. - The radiators were laughably small. The plumber took one look and refused to fit them. It turned out they were less than half the size needed because nobody had done the proper calculations. Another delay. At this point we had lost trust in InHouse so ordered them ourselves based on the plumber's calculations. - The appliances don't match properly. It seems that the microwave oven was replaced by a newer model but nobody spotted that the oven would no longer match, having significantly different controls. All we were offered was a downgrade to the older microwave. - The freezer door wouldn't open correctly as a part was missing. This took weeks to resolve. - We had agreed on a herringbone pattern for the flooring but far too few floor tiles were ordered despite us paying for them up front. There were just enough to lay in an ordinary pattern so we had to go with that. We had paid for the full quantity of tiles but that wasn't what was delivered. - We have a remote control which, apparently, was ordered and paid for. We have no idea what it was for, nor did the electrician. Despite the designer promising to be 'hands-on' during the installation (we hardly saw him), it did not get installed because the electrician and builder didn't get a reply when they asked what to do with it. We had to chase suppliers for lights, glass splashbacks, the sink and radiators. There were numerous other niggles and delays. We have had bathrooms done in the past by another local company who were a pleasure to work with in comparison - they planned the installation properly, owned the whole process and fixed the inevitable problems swiftly. InHouse did none of these.

Just completed the installation of our new in-house designed kitchen. Would like to thank Kye for turning my dream into reality ( literally!). He was very attentive to detail and very professional. The product is of exceptional quality. Would recommend in-house and Kye without hesitation.
