As we were buying a listed building and had almost no experience of a building of this type and what the pitalls could be we searched for a surveyor who had experience in this area. Janus Construction had good reviews and the information we received from Rupert was very helpful prior to us engaging his services. We were not disappointed with his service. His report (though not entirely what we wanted to hear) was detailed and clear and back up discussions were also helpful. His wasn't the cheapest survey that we could have got but I completely believe that it was value for money especially due to the type of building we were purchasing. Because of that we were able to move forward with our eyes open to the issues that the building had rather than get a huge fright later on.

Oliver was always available to answer my questions, punctual to his word with timelines he provided & even met me on-site to talk through his initial thoughts at my request. We commissioned Rupert to run a level 3 plus survey on our soon-to-be 17th century farmhouse. From the very first call and throughout, Rupert has offered top class advice and always made himself available for detailed discussions and advice. The report itself is over a hundred pages long, extremely comprehensive and well written. Rupert also provides a folder full of pictures and videos from the survey, which are very useful. The report Rupert prepared was incredibly in depth and detailed whilst being clearly written and easy to understand After the report was delivered Rupert was readily available to talk us through the details and provided further advice and guidance.
