Had an awful experience with them. They installed a Grant boiler 8 years ago (incorrectly as later identified by the Grants engineer). We then had fault after fault, on average 4 call outs a year, mostly charged for as out of warranty, wouldn't come at weekends even in middle of winter. After only 8 years we have replaced it (about half way through a typical life for an oil boiler), using another company who couldn't believe the type of boiler and set up we had which was unsuitable for a large property with several bathrooms and both traditional and underfloor heating.

Really disappointed with this local company having used them previously at our old house. Inflexible approach to coming back to do a service on the hot water cylinder having done the boiler. Wanted to charge £85 but had I booked at the same time £30. Not my fault the builder said just to service boiler to preserve gtee! They could have got back to me quicker and taken a more personal bespoke approach to my dilemma. Will be going elsewhere in the future. Shame

We have used Johnson’s for many years and had no worries when they came to change a radiator in our home. What should have been a two hour job turned out into a full day and ended in us having no heating in two rooms. Also the new radiator had a damaged end panel which they pledged to replace. Numerous phone calls and several emails later (all unanswered) we had to bring in another local company to rectify.

Glad to find a plumber that turns up in an emergency leaking pipe repaired very quickly. No problem recommend them
