D N5 StarI am no plumber or expert. My tap stopped working. I knew it was the valve, i had no idea about what part to buy. But i had the old broken valve, i took it in and asked if they had one. They looked at it and immediately knew which valve i would need. A good price, got a nice new valve. The tap handle was chipped and i got a new matching set of those too.
Much cheaper than buying a full tap replacement. Good prices and good knowledge too. Thankyou.

Hussain Masoom1 StarWent in with a broken part that connected the mixed water to a flexi hose pull out sink head from my kitchen sink. Immediately got an "I cannot help you". I said I wasn't looking for a replacement part, looking for a solution to my problem, "I cannot help you". Surely there must be another way to connect two pipes together or replace both pipes so they can be connected together without this specific fitting, "I cannot help you". You haven't even understood my problem yet "I have 50 years of experience, and I cannot help you". I left.
Turned around, walked back in to see if I could browse to find something that might work. If he couldn't help me, I could help myself. Started browsing again and he said "Can I help you?". I said, I'd like to browse to see if I can find something that could work. He said, he wasn't going to let me rummage around his store when he knew I wouldn't find anything. I left fuming.
I don't think I've ever been treated so poorly in my life. I see there are such opposite experiences in the reviews... Not sure how one man can be so helpful to some and so unhelpful to others.Thursday 4th May 2023

First time I went in there, Ken the owner gave me the small part I needed for free !
