Lee Kyson Building Consultancy Ltd. (LKBC)

LKBC is a Chartered Building Consultancy we are registered with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and are 'Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' (RICS).

LKBC are therefore, bound by the Code of Practice of both organisations.

The main focus of our work is dealing with Party Wall matters and Construction disputes.

The quality of service is founded on many years of ‘hands on’ experience gained across a broad range of sectors of the construction industry, whether actually carrying out the works, the contractual management or the management of disputes, should one arise.

Lee Kyson holds MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Fellow), Chartered Institute of Building and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

You can be assured of personal involvement within each project or task undertaken. Lee does not delegate his work and has physically carried out all the works associated with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 himself, so has 1st hand experience of what actually happens on site.

Lee is agreeable to being selected as third surveyor.

Have you been told that as a party wall notice was not served and it is too late engage the the Party Wall etc. Act 1996?

Party wall surveyors have told you there is nothing you can do?

If so call Lee or click this link ‘no notice, no Act?’ and read Lee’s article for more info.

Please note that a recent High Court decision went against on the basis that if a building owner does not serve a party wall notice, he is not desirous of exercising his rights under the Act and therefore a dispute cannot arise…. I have sought permission to appeal from the Court of Appeal… so can only wait and see. comments to the HC decision

There are some ‘negative’ reviews on google about me, two of which I have no idea who they are from but they definitely weren’t clients of mine.
