Peter has done an excellent job with a survey on a flat that we purchased. The report was written in a clear language and noted many details that we would not have even thought about. It really helped us down the road when talking to the management company and estimating the scope of renovations. Peter was also available to answer any follow-up questions, which was great, because as the first-time home buyers we really needed that type of expert support.

Would definitely recommend Peter. Felt like I got value for money, with a detailed report which included pictures and insight which got to the heart of the issue, as opposed to be overly jargonistic/formulaic. Was also happy to address a few issues which cropped up several months later.

Pete carried out a building survey on a Victorian house in Chingford for us. His report was very thorough as you would expect, but what took the report to the next level was Pete's expert local knowledge. Having grown up in the area and surveyed other houses on our street Pete was able to provide additional information as to original fittings (where they had been replaced) and as to the relative condition of the property compered to others in it's age range. Turn around was very quick, I booked the survey on a Friday, it was completed on the next Monday and the report sent via email on the Friday after that. A week, start to finish. I highly recommend Pete to anyone buying a property in the Chingford area.
