Metro Rod Mid Wales & Shropshire is run by franchise owner Adrian Taylor. A close-knit, family-run business, Adrian’s wife Caroline oversees the day-to-day office operations, and their son Will is currently training to become a pump engineer. Each of our employees are from the local area and have been specially selected to provide the best customer experience. All our talented, highly qualified engineers are fully trained, DBS checked and insured to handle any drainage problem. They regularly undertake in-depth training, both internally and externally, to keep up with the latest health and safety requirements needed in the industry. As part of the wider business Metro Rod Ltd is proud to hold many industry accreditations such as Alcumus Safe Contractor and Achilles. Ensuring that only the very best in the industry attend your site to deliver expert drainage, pump, and septic tank emptying solutions whenever you need them.

The team at Mid Wales & Shropshire have gone from strength to strength since opening their business in 2010. Originally providing drainage services in Welshpool, they have since expanded to offer these services throughout Shropshire and are currently opening a new depot in Telford.

At Metro Rod Mid Wales & Shropshire, we understand the importance of delivering great customer service. We take care of our customers, from initial contact through to resolving their drainage problem and continual support once the job has been completed to prevent further disruption caused by a lack of drain maintenance. Examples include our investment in pumps, enabling us to provide 24/7 pump station maintenance, repairs and installation services and our 3 tanker units which include a 3000-gallon waste disposal tanker used specifically for septic tank and interceptor emptying and a Vactor Unit Tanker that allows us to use high-pressure water jetting on any pipework from 150mm drain up to a 20000mm drain.

Our reporting tools and management information enable us to identify where costs are regularly incurred and areas causing recurring problems. Meaning we can propose intelligent drain maintenance solutions to help you save time and money by reducing the cost of emergency callouts and preventing future disruptions from drainage problems or failed pumps.
