I have to echo other reviews regarding the unprofessionalism of this firm. When I initially spoke to John (the MD) regarding obtaining external insulation using the Green Homes Grant deal he was helpful and provided a quote based upon my measurements. Unfortunately, upon visiting several months later, he realised he had made a huge miscalculation (despite my measurements being accurate) and the true quote was nearly double. As the scheme was beginning to close to new applications, I had no choice but to pursue my quote with this firm, seeking an extension to the voucher. We discussed pursuing an amicable solution and he indicated that he could do half of the work for the original quote. Given part of the cost was to be covered by the grant, it was still better than not proceeding at all, so I made enquiries with him about how to progress matters and that is when all contact stopped. I completely understand that they are entitled to turn away custom. However, common decency ought to have meant I was at least informed of that. It would not have been hard to actually communicate that to me given the numerous emails and phone calls I made to them. I've written this review because if I had known how unprofessional they were, I would have followed up other quotes and perhaps been able to use the voucher scheme instead of missing out completely. Look elsewhere if you have a choice.

I was applied for the Green Homes Grant using the quote provided by this company after a while i was ask them to provide me with a more specifical quote necesary for the progression of the application they come back with a still not complete one after i was insisting with phone calls and emails as was very urgent matter. As Even the last quote wasnt complete i had to come back to them again just to get like answer that they are no longer working with the government scheme anymore. I will definitely avoid in the future. I just lost everything because of them after months of saving to be able to insulate my home. Not trustful not professional not reliable!

*** BUYER BEWARE*** We had an estimate done for exterior wall insulation which we accepted, by O'Connell's Drywall Contractors Ltd in Sittingbourne. This was for over £10,000 in work, partly financed by a Government Green Homes Grant. We sent to voucher to O’Connells at the end of December. I have chased them several times for a start date. Today, without any explanation or apologies, they have emailed to say they have cancelled the voucher. This is APPALLING. We were assured that they would be able to undertake the work. I have asked them for an explanation but I very much doubt this will be forthcoming. Clearly they do not require anymore work. They are a TrustMark registered company and I will also be making a formal complaint to them. Stay away from this company. Complete charlatans.
