Our products range from oak porches to garages, outbuildings, extensions, oak trusses and more. We also have a joinery department that makes all the finishing touches for our projects, from oak garage doors, personal doors, staircases, bi-fold doors, windows and even oak flooring.

We wanted a bespoke workshop that would enable us to create a court yard and blend with our 200 year old stone cottage which falls in a conservation area, in a village in Lincolnshire. I spent nearly a year researching the market - we could find companies that would manufacture and supply but not build and were eye watering expensive. We found Oaksmiths from another review and found Duncan to be incredibly helpful from the start. He initially provided a quote that was broken down into all the component parts - as we aimed to do as much as possible ourselves. I visited his manufacturing premises and was very impressed – a great family business, bustling with activity and very professional. We booked Oaksmiths after this visit, and provisionally booked a start date based on a local builder completing the footings and initial brick work. Duncan and his team worked very hard, always kept the premises clean and tidy after each day. It was amazing to see the building come together and impressed the neighbours no end! We employed a local roofer, though Duncan could have included this, and we intend to do all the internals of the building ourselves, together with the external landscaping. I would highly recommend Duncan and Oaksmiths if you are considering any kind of Oak framed building, large or small.

We commissioned a new oak porch from Oaksmiths to replace our old, rather tired one. Duncan was great at iterating the design with us and offering solutions to the various small snags and problems we hit throughout the build. The whole team were polite, hard working and cleaned up well at the end of each day. The quality of the craftsmanship and attention to the small details was excellent and overall we are delighted with our new porch. Would strongly recommend Duncan and the team at Oaksmiths to others.

Duncan and his team are exceptional. From the start of the project you feel totally reassured that they are experts in all they do. We wanted a solid oak porch and from my first enquiry, Duncan was very helpful, in regular contact with me so as to specify the right products and even did a pre-site visit to double check dimensions. On the day of installation, the guys were courteous, at pains to avoid any mess and keen to do the best job possible despite it being a really hot day. I would totally recommend Oaksmiths and would happily appoint them again without hesitation. Superb in every way and a big thank you to Duncan .

He kept us informed at every stage, arrived punctually, or phoned if there was to be any delay.
