How our appointments work

All our appointments are all day appointments, however we do give you a call approximately 30 minutes before our engineer is due to arrive meaning that you can go out as long as you can be back within this time frame. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide estimated times of arrival due to the way our schedules can change. It’s difficult for me to provide a comprehensive review of Plumbcare Yorkshire because the 2 times that I had a boiler service booked in, they didn’t show up! On both occasions they called and blamed ‘engineer illness’ which I really didn’t believe - the excuses did not sound convincing at all. For me it was the complete waste of 2 days holiday off work which obviously doesn’t matter at all to them.

Quick response by phone to book my appointment and was phoned half an hour before arrival. My engineer took his time was responsive to my description and details of the problem so.he could make the right diagnosis on my boiler and to order the part to fix the fault. He helped me understand what was wrong and explained the reason clearly. Through a computor glitch my appontment for the second visit was left off the system this problem was sorted for the next day and my boiler was fixed quickly and efficiently I would highly recommend Plumbcare to GET THE JOB DONE.

Very poor service as an Emergency service via E-sure ! Engineer on site was fine - diagnosed issue with pump straight away but head office would not let him go 10 mins to the merchant to get a replacement -forced to reschedule the next day for another engineer visit. This is wrong on so many levels - Esure miss-selling their service as a 24 hr emergency cover, another engineer having to travel from Wakefield to Nottingham - complete madness on an environmental level - and another night with no heating or hot water.

Very poor response. They were appointed by our insurers. Kept us waiting whole day without informing that they will be late. Then said cant come back with the parts for 4 days to repair the boiler. Also charged our insurers £150 for 20 mins call out. Had to call a local engineer who came same day with parts and repaired it.

It will be over 48h until we get an engineer round. I HAVE a 5 day old baby and mom who need hot water and warmth. Appalled at the nonexistent communication. Should not be handling emergency insurance jobs.
