What we bring is the expertise and insight to support customers through the entire project lifecycle. By starting work for the £8.6m Tyneview Retail Park in Prudhoe in preconstruction, we gave our customer cost modelling options to finalise the project proposal for planning.
We're proud of our ongoing partnerships with bodies such as Northumbria University and the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where we carry out refurbishment, construction and M&E works. It's these relationships that show how well we work with our customer's estates teams and stakeholders, as well as our capabilities delivering in live environments and across services.
We approach projects mindful of the impact our work has on communities. The £12.3m restoration of Spanish City in Whitley Bay was a key regeneration initiative and a real chance to engage young people in construction – over 1,000 students gained trades experience in our offsite workshops. During construction of the £16m TeesAMP Business Park, we created 47 jobs and generated £421,000 in social value employment initiatives.
