S W Brook Construction Ltd is a professional building company based in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex. We offer a complete service no matter how big or small. We will take care of jobs from the first ideas and planning to a completely redecorated renovation. However, we are also happy to help you with small maintenance work. S W Brook (Steve Brook) have just completed a renovation for me. The job they undertook was not an easy one, two large side extension and the removal of all interior walls, a complete "rejig". On top of that they have had to work round the fact we live on a steep hill and that the original building was in an extremely poor state before they began. They have they done an amazing job, I am very pleased with the quality of work. Steve Brook checked in with us weekly to update us on next steps, talk to our main builder (another Steve) and discuss what we needed when. The guys all turn up when they are expected, they are polite, trustworthy and have been respectful. I have left them in my house happily whilst I have had to work. They clean up before they leave, take boots of to go into rooms they are not working in and always ask if I am happy before they leave. My actual builder Steve was brilliant, what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing, and my goodness he is a grafter. He made suggestions as he went along, flagged things he thought I may at a later stage wish I had done and I have been left with the property i dreamed off. Thank you all I am very glad I used you.

We have used SW Brook for various home building projects over many years. The team are very reliable, considerate and polite. I get the impression that Steve chooses who works for him very carefully. From the initial consultation, Steve is easy to get on with and works hard to understand your requirements. He works within your budget to produce the best possible outcome. However, he is also practical and manages expectations so you know what you are getting without any ‘surprises’ along the way. Steve is very particular about the quality of finish and pays personal attention if there are any issues (not that we had many). For small, large or really large projects, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SW Brook. (In fact I already have quite a few times.)

Our architect recommended S W Brook to us on a major rebuild of our house and we are very glad that he did. The project has been going on for just over a year now with possibly another 5 months to run and during all that time we have never for one moment regretted our choice of builder. All the people he has working for him are hardworking, diligent and a pleasure to deal with which has been particularly important as we are living at the property during the work. Steve himself is always readily contactable and available for any issues that arise and is very knowledgeable on all aspects of the work being undertaken. Nothing is too much trouble for Steve and he has worked with us closely and provided advice on matters relating to budgeting and logistics which has also been very important to us. This is a significant event in our lives and we are glad we chose the right person to guide us through the jungle as I suspect we could have easily got lost otherwise.

Steve and his team completed a complex build for us and we are extremely pleased with the results. The firm employs staff who are both friendly and professional. The foreman did a great job of liaising with us and being nimble if and when things changed, as they often do. Flexibility and knowledge is the key in complex builds, and Steve’s team have this in spades and were able to rise to the challenge. Recommended.
