Judith, who I had a lovely conversation with over the phone, was polite and professional, taking the time to understand our circumstances rather than rushing us of off the phone like most other agents I have contacted. The staff at the Carlisle office have been very friendly, helpful and professional towards us from the start. Savills has always acted promptly whenever we need any kind of repair or other work done in the flat.
When we first arrived in Cumbria from overseas, we had funds but no history in the UK that could be traced. We will always be grateful to Judith Chambers in particular for nonetheless taking a chance on our being reliable tenants by waiving the usual background check. After the passage of six and a half years and no late payments of the rent during this time, we believe that everyone has benefitted from our ongoing transaction and that her original judgement has proved to be correct.

Peter Murphy1 StarWorst rental landlord experience we've ever had. From refusing to treat the penetrating damp to suggesting we use only the back door when the front swelled and wouldn't open to then cynically attempting to withhold our deposit and blaming existing conditions on us. Even by estate agent standards this lot are atrocious. Would advise anyone to avoid like the plague.Sunday 27th May 2018
