We looked at a number of different kitchen design showrooms before visiting Schmidt in Ruislip. On our very first visit we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Evy. After a look around the showroom we were really impressed with the quality and robustness of the product and the different design options open to us and we knew immediately this was who we wanted to work with, but, quality always comes at a price and we did worry it would be out of reach in regard to budget However, having worked on layouts with Evy over a number of visits we were pleasantly surprised at how competitive the pricing actually was. The final presentation with Tony and Evy allowed us to see and agree every fine detail right down to the direction the grain should go on the wood finish on the doors and with everything agreed we were happy to sign on the dotted line. Communication once the kitchen was ordered was excellent and before long the installer, Chris, was busy completing the installation to a very high standard. All In all, a massive thankyou to Evy Tony and Chris for all their help, expertise and advice . We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Schmidt to anyone who wants a high quality kitchen at a reasonable price. This kitchen was 3 years in the making (includes 2.5 years prior to Schmidt!). I couldn’t believe after my first meeting with Tony, I had designed my dream kitchen. Tony has a very structured, and methodical way of working which helped my indecisiveness. Tony effectively narrowed down options based on his knowledge of what would complement. Not only did Tony have good design ideas, he was practical and gave functional advice. There is no hard sell, and budget wise, I spent slightly more than I intended, but the standard and quality of materials is well worth the money. The rest of the team, Evy and Eman, kept in touch throughout the process, and willingly researched and changed appliances for me. They kept me updated with each stage of the process. They are friendly and warm, and pleasure to work with. Chris, who did the installation, was meticulous and am very happy with the standard of installation. Am glad I went with a Schmidt installer. There was one item which was damaged on arrival, and Chris quickly spotted it, and arranged a replacement with Evy. The only reason I can’t give a 5 star rating, is because the outsourced delivery company gave me a really hard time. The day of my kitchen delivery, the delivery company refused to bring the x4 tall units upstairs to my flat, despite myself and Tony (on the phone) trying to convince them to take them up. The units were abandoned in my entrance hallway, and if it wasn't for my builders graciously doing the heavy lifted, I might have a kitchen on two floors! At the time, and perhaps due to COVID, there was a 3 month lead in time from design to installation, but that was made clear from the start so my expectations were properly managed. A big thank you Tony, Evy, Eman and Chris. I have a kitchen that makes me happy every day!

What can we say, but Wow and how grateful we are to the team from Schmidt Ruislip who made our vision and dream a reality. Expert guidance from the team on what would work and what wouldn’t. Great translation of our vision into software generated images to ensure we were 100% aligned. Project management and expectations spot on. We would highly recommend Schmidt Ruislip to anybody looking to enhance the value of their home.

We had a great experience planning our kitchen with Tony. The variety and choices available for appliances, worktops and kitchen furniture is immense.....definitely something for everybody.....but difficult for the indecisive! I really have to thank the team so much, for making the stress of having to do our kitchen shopping with 3 young children in tow, a pleasurable and fun experience. Thanks for the numerous biscuits you gave our kids and allowing them to sit in your showroom watching their tablets, while we had to make some big decisions. We had a few hilarious moments deciding on our bin drawers. The delayed delivery of some of our appliances was out of Schmidt's control, but they did try very hard to source from elsewhere and offer alternatives. Also, there was a fault with the Quooker tap, which we had to sort out ourselves to have replaced. Our only one niggle is that we can't open our larder completely if the dishwasher is open; a 2cm shift to the left would have allowed for this as there is ample space but otherwise a beautiful kitchen that is nicer than I could have imagined. The pictures below include our old dishwasher. The finished kitchen has an integrated dishwasher. Thanks so much Tony and Evy.

We couldn’t be happier with our new Schmidt kitchen. We were planning to go with another large retailer but thought we’d pop into Schmidt to get a comparison and we were surprised that it was within our budget. With the help of Tony and Evy we were able to make our idea come to life. All the timelines we were giving were correct and we were kept informed every step of the way. No complaints whatsoever. I couldn’t recommend Tony and Evy enough we love it.
