3 months on from having our bathroom finished and we are still absolutely loving it! George's attention to detail is unreal and luckily for us he lives by the "central and level" code just like we do! Music to our ears after some of the cowboy jobs we've had done in the past! He was respectful, tidy, considerate, amazing with our dog, and bent over backwards to make our bathroom dreams a reality. One of George's best qualities is his ability to simplify everything when explaining what he's done that day and what he aims to complete the next so that you fully understand what's being done in your home, what access he needs etc, but never comes across as patronising. Even when sometimes he had to explain things multiple times! He understands how much of an inconvenience it is to be without simple things like electrics and running water, and never turned anything essential off without letting me know first so I could fill the kettle and the dog bowl, and run an extension for the WiFi so I could still work from home. Seriously, thank you so much George, the pictures do not do it justice, and when we've saved enough we'll be booking you again for a new boiler! P.S - to any future clients, this man is a grafter and runs on coffee! He'll never turn down the offer of a fresh cup so make sure you have plenty!!! Milk, no sugar!

We have used George (and before that his Dad) for many years with regards to boilers and heating. George has always been reliable, answering calls and attending quickly in emergencies, and solving any issues with his expertise. So we were very confident that he would do a good job gutting and refitting 3 bathrooms and a games room for us. What we didn't realise before the 5 week project was just how good a job he would do! Firstly the basics. But that's where so many tradesman go wrong. We made an appointment for an initial assessment and he turned up on time! Not only that, he phoned half hour in advance to say he was en route. How many tradesman do that??!! And that wasn't just to get the job. It was his modus operandi throughout the whole project. Then we discussed our plans, and whilst appreciating "the customer was always right", he appropriately gave us tips and advice on many, many matters that needed his vast experience. Together we came up with plans that led to results we are absolutely delighted with. He provided a quote in a timely fashion and predicted correctly when he would be able to start. His workmanship throughout was exemplary. His talent for jobs under the umbrellas of heating, plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling, painting, fitting, floor laying etc was awesome. And all done in a calm and uniquely tidy manner, with not a hint of a moan as we tinkered with some plans or thought of additional tasks for him to carry out. He was a pleasure to have in our house for such a protracted period, and the greatest compliment I can pay is that on some days when I got home, whilst excited to see what he had achieved, I didn't actually ever feel a need to check what he had done. His standards were always so high. Well done George and thank you so much. We are delighted with what you have done for us, and although you are already rightly really busy, I hope this review helps reassure other potential clients. In short if Carlsberg made tradesman, they would be George!!!
