Awful service, fine until it is fitted but once they have had your money they do not care. After bathroom has been fitted shower cracked and other faulty items. 7 months on and still have not come to rectify as they say no fitter wants the job to rectify the mistakes they made. So not been able to use shower since it’s been installed. I wouldn’t waste your money here.

So firstly no cutting service for sheet materials which is inconvenient and I had to cut a play sheet down in the car park. As a result I forgot a tin of paint I ordered on my trolly. It was handed in by another customer to the store however despite admitting they had it refused to give it to me and told me to pay again whilst laughing. What terrible customer service

Absolutely shocking service from Wickes. Your designer will be efficient until such time as you have paid your money over. Then, you're not of any value to them. We spent two months trying to get fitters back to our house after they left because of issues we had. The downstairs WC had a leak, and water was pushing through the floor boards. The fitters wouldn't come out until a few days later to look at it so we HAD to call an emergency plumber to help us. We emailed and called customer care line as well as our designer and no one has had the courtesy to check in with us and are avoiding the bill we've had to fit from our fitters error. Absolutely stay away. We've chased and followed up but we are being quite blatantly ignored.

Challenging one way system to navigate just to get onto car park and store looks unattractive from the outside. Standard array of DIY products available but difficult to know where things are and prices seem a little higher than competitors.

Wickes is generally a good place to find most things DIY related and usually at fair prices. I ordered some lights online for click and collect along with an electrical socket, showed in stock. I had a call the next day saying they couldn't find any of the products I ordered and that they searched the whole shop so they cancelled the order. Checked a few days later online and it still showed stock was available in store. So went in store myself to check, wasn't any on the shelf so asked one of the staff who checked the shelf again, then said he would check out back and surprise surprise he found them. So they actually had everything in stock and cost me an extra trip there. Also the price on the shelf showed the socket was on offer but when scanned at the counter said this wasn't the case. Staff don't really seem to care that much.
